Prosperity’s Hoppin with Arts and Crafts

​1:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Downtown Square

​The first Saturday in May, Prosperity is Hoppin’ with Arts and Crafts.  We celebrate not only our local arts and crafts and downtown stores, there will also be 40+ vendors in our Prosperity Market set up in the square, which will be closed to traffic.

​The Grace Street Parking lot adjacent to the square will be filled with a juried car show showcasing many makes and models both new and loved.

​Prosperity’s Hoppin’ Festival is also about our town’s history, due to COVID our festival was cancelled for 2020 and due to late restriction lifting for our May Festival Date we  are focusing on getting out and Experiencing  Downtown Prosperity and enjoy our vast Market and the Wonderful shops and restaurants Prosperity has to offer.  

​Oh yea, and you can take your picture in front of the depot with the largest sculpture of a frog in the Southeast by local metal artist James Sizemore.  Why? Because our town was once known as Frog Level.  

Food?  Don’t worry about it.  With several local restaurants downtown,  and other local food vendors, you are taken care of. 

​Blackbeard’s Truck will take the stage – Starting at 5 pm,  for an entertaining, fun, relaxing evening.  Bring your chair and relax  and enjoy the music provided by the band.

·         Cost of 10′ x10′ space on the square is $30.00.  The square will be closed to traffic.

·         You must provide your own tent and do your own set up

·         Deadline for applications is Monday, April 22, 2022.
