Directions: From I-20, go north at exit 55 on South Lake Drive for 6 miles. The park entrance is on the left just before the dam.

Larry Koon Landing
Facilities: free boat ramp, picnic tables, public restrooms
Directions: Take US #378 west of Lexington, SC, then follow the signs to the “Lake Murray Access”. Turn right onto Shore Road, then right onto Shull Island Road. Larry Koon Landing is just past the bridge to Shull Island

SCEG North Recreation Area

Directions: At North Lake Drive and Bush River Road. From I-26, go west on exit 102 (Lake Murray Boulevard) 4 miles.

Hilton Recreation Area
Facilities: Picnic tables, shelters, public restrooms, boat ramp
Hours: 6:00a - 10:00p
Directions: Take I-26 to exit #91, then go south on Columbia Ave. (#48) 1.8 miles (2.9 km.) into the town of Chapin. Turn left onto Old Lexington Highway and go southeast 4.4 miles (7.0 km.). Turn right onto Wessinger Road and follow this road until you see the recreation area entrance.

Bundrick Island
Facilities: Hiking trails, swimming. But be aware --- no public restrooms available, no parking available (accessible by car or bike)
Hours: always open
Directions:Take I-20 to exit #51 and go north on Longs Pond Road 5.5 miles (8.9 km.). (The road changes names twice.) Turn left onto Old Cherokee Road, then turn right onto Brady Porth Road, which leads up to the gate.
OR
Follow US #378 west out of the town of Lexington. Turn right 2.0 miles (3.3 km.) beyond where US #1 and US #378 split and go north on Wise Ferry Road 0.8 miles (1.3 km.). Turn left and follow Old Cherokee Road 2.3 miles (3.7 km.) northwest. Turn right onto Brady Porth Road, which leads up to the gate.

Turn left onto Wheeland Road (#20) and go south 9.6 km. Turn left onto Macedonia Church Road (#26) and go southeast 2.0 km. Turn left onto Dreher Island Road (#15) and go east 0.9 km. Turn right onto State Park Road (#571), and follow this road to Dreher Island.
