Chapin borders the northeastern side of Lake Murray and is approximately 12 miles north of Columbia, SC. We are in a great central location with the beach, mountains, and Atlanta all being within two to three hours from here. I grew up in this area and have lived on Lake Murray for almost ten years. If you are not from this area you really should plan a visit soon. Be careful, though, I am sure that you will fall in love with the miles of beautiful shores and will want to make Lake Murray your new place of residence.
