Fort Jackson Museum

Located across from post headquarters on Jackson Boulevard, the museum was established in 1972 with an initial collection of 20 artifacts. Today, the collection has grown to over 4,000 items, including weapons, uniforms and vehicles from WWI to the present. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed weekends and Federal holidays.

Patchwork Playhouse

The Patchwork Playhouse operates from Columbia, South Carolina.. For 27 years the Players, a professional educational theatre company, has toured throughout the southeastern and mid-Atlantic states. Founded in 1980 by Genie Eaker, the company was designed to tour schools and community arts centers with theatre for young children and families. For fourteen years Patchwork was a company in residence at Columbia College of South Carolina as an adjunct program of the Drama Department's Gingerbread Theatre community outreach program.

Newberry Opera House
